Phil Bowen, poet and playwright talks about, and reads extracts of poetry and prose from P G Wodehouse and John Betjeman. P G Wodehouse said Shropshire ‘was the nearest earthly place to Paradise’ and placed Blandings Castle in Shropshire. John Betjeman too had a fondness for the county, describing Ludlow as the ‘loveliest town in England’
