About Us

We offer a select menu of ethically-sourced, gourmet coffee and tea, served to a consistently high standard. We also support local and independent producers wherever possible and promote them to our customers. As customers ourselves, we always think we've had a good experience of food, service and atmosphere if we're motivated to return somewhere after a first visit. We aim to achieve that with our customers.

We spent a great deal of time creating the menu at Ginger and Green, selecting food that we believe people will love, and making the most of the great produce on our doorstep. We strongly believe in supporting local producers and this is reflected in our menu, which includes artisan breads, free range chicken and eggs, outdoor-reared pork, local jams and chutneys - even our milk comes direct from a local dairy farm!

Our menu includes the delicious and ever-popular home-made quiche of the day, a variety of gourmet sausage rolls, freshly-prepared sandwiches, salads and paninis, and tasty soups using recipes we have created specially at Ginger and Green. We use the best ingredients in all our recipes and use herbs grown in our own garden!

We have great cakes and bakes which are all made in-house. Customers especially love our moist coffee cake and gooey brownies; and our giant chewy cookies are also a favourite! We also have gluten-free Florentines and shortbread, so that even those customers who are gluten intolerant can enjoy something tasty with their coffee or tea.

We specialise in gourmet coffee and use only the highest quality beans from one of the best roasters in the country - and fine teas from an independent tea blender based in Hereford. Both suppliers go to great lengths to ensure that their coffee and tea are ethically sourced and of the highest standard.

Ginger and Green is fully licensed, offering a range of local beers from the Ludlow Brewing Company, cider from Westons in Herefordshire and specially selected wines, including a Three Choirs white wine from their vineyard in Gloucestershire.

We hope this will tempt you to pay us a visit when next in the town and we look forward to seeing you.
