About Church Stretton

Church Stretton lies at the foot of the Geologically significant Long Mynd to the west and volcanic hills to the east. The resulting variety of landscapes has been the home of mankind for thousands of years. Wildlife habitats range from domestic gardens, agricultural land, the wet and boggy Local Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Church Stretton, to the surrounding Shropshire Hills.
