Public Consultations

The Town Council provides opportunities to obtain views of the Public at each Town Council Meeting.

Where topics are considered to be of much wider concern, additional arrangements are made and consultation opportunities are provided. Topics that fall into this category include Strategic Planning, Town Council Priorities, Town Enhancement Initiatives.

Many of these consultations refer to decisions being considered by Shropshire Council. The Town Council has no powers other than to provide recommendations and to lobby Shropshire Council Members. Planning Applications and Highway issues are two items of many that fall into this category.

If you have a topic that you consider warrants a broader public review, then please contact in the first instance, the Town Council Office or your local Town Councillor.
