Church Stretton Secondary School - Expedition to Tanzania

Published: 29th October, 2014

16 students from Church Stretton Secondary School have been lucky enough to get on to an expedition with the organisation Outlook Expeditions.
In July 2015, they are going to Tanzania for two weeks to help out in the community and explore. For five days of the trip they will be helping to build a school block.
They have to raise their own funds for the expedition and the total amount toraise is £2745. This whole expedition is about them becoming more independent, and maturing whilst helping other people.
Hollie Williams, one of the students, is hoping to hold a Christmas themed event in December. She will be charging for tickets and they will come with one free drink and a raffle ticket. She is looking for donations for the raffle, no matter whether it's small or big. If you are able to help please contact Hollie on 01694 722588.
