There are several Fayres and Festivals in the Strettons which are held periodically. Dates and other details are shown in the events calendar as and when they become finalised. Some events listed below have permanent web pages with links highlighted below.
For 2016 there is a new "one-off" event being held on Saturday the 7th of May - MusicFest - a musical fun day centred on Rectory Field with many other attractions in indoor locations.
Entertainment will be provided by school musicians on stage, local choirs, musical and theatrical workshops with much more besides.
There will be food and drink marquees, ice cream and sweet stalls, pets' corner with pygmy goats, alpacas, owls, hawks - and other children's pets.
During the evening 6pm to 10pm the stage will be used to promote the talents of local musicians and professional groups and bands.

Duck Race - Cardingmill Valley.
The second Church Stretton Blues'n'Roots Festival will be held in Rectory Field in our beautiful town on Saturday, 30th May 2015. Gates open at mid-day, with live music into the evening.
The Festival aims to showcase some of the best singer/song writers in the UK Blues and Roots scene. We have a phenomenal line-up of international and national artists, as well as some fantastic Shropshire home-grown talent.
As well as fantastic live music, we'll have 'how-to' workshops and activities for children.

The Church Stretton Walking Festival is an annual event attracting visitors from far and wide.
JULY & AUGUST:
Church Stretton Arts Festival. An extravaganza of Music, Drama, Pictures and Crafts over a period of 2 weeks at the start of the Summer Holidays.
Long Mynd Hike. A 24hr run/walk around most of the peaks of the South Shropshire Hills
One of the biggest craft fayres in the County, held at Church Stretton School - has been running for over 25 years.
Bonfire and Fireworks Display in Rectory Field.
Carols in the Square: A Christmas Eve event with mulled wine and barbecue accompanied by traditional and modern Christmas Carols and songs around the tree. (more information here)
