Leila Jackson is a plantswoman and the owner of T3 Wall End Nursery, a small specialist family run nursery near Leominster. They specialise in Abutilons and Salvias and also hold the National Collection of Abutilons. It is a show nursery, they also tour the country sharing their passion.

Introduction to Wenlock Edge's Geology (Wenlock Edge)
Join us for this course, comprised of 6 sessions, to help you discover what makes Wenlock Edge special. Explore the woods, meadows and quarries, discovering the interesting flora, fauna and heritage of Wenlock Edge.

This session will introduce you to the rich geology of Wenlock Edge. Look at the limestone used in the old quarries and discover how it affects the flora here. Visit our coral reefs, searching for fossils of marine creatures as we go and look into the distant landscape from panoramic viewpoints.

Would you like to be able to identify the characteristic birds of the county in different seasons? If so, this course is for you.  It will be led by Alan Heath, Dave Pearce and John Arnfield and will comprise eight indoor meetings (held at the Chalet Pavilion in the Cardingmill Valley, Church Stretton) and eight field trips (at various locations in the county), meeting between September 2015 and June 2016.  The course is co-sponsored by the National Trust and the Church Stretton branch of the Shropshire Ornithological Society.
