The Complete Owl (Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre)
Based on Michael Leach's best selling book of the same name, this talk reveals our resident British owls in folklore and fact; it looks at barn owls, tawny owls and little owls and the specialised techniques that help them hunt. The talk is illustrated with dynamic high-speed photographs of flying owls. Michael has been a full-time photographer, cameraman and author since 1977, filming documentaries for both the BBC and independent television. View Michael's photography exhibition in our gallery through January and into early February.
