Stretton Climate Care

Contact: Jon Cooke

Stretton Climate Care a not-for-profit charity, are really rolling out their programme of helping the local community to save money on energy bills and at the same time reduce their carbon footprint. Over the past 18 months some 250 homes have received a free 'home energy advice visit' and many hundreds received advice from their drop in advice service at the Thursday market. Talks about the urgency of reducing carbon emissions have been given to many local organisations and their team of trained volunteers are waiting to hear from you. The service covers roughly a 5mile radius around Church Stretton and can give personalised advice and information on energy saving issues. They are also working with local schools and have a wide ranging programme of events, films etc.throughout the year. For further information see www.strettonclimatecare.org.uk. email info@strettonclimatecare.org.uk or ring 0752 849 3181.
